Defend Fair Copyright in Canada

All Canadians should be worried about this.

Following pressure from the U.S. government and entertainment lobbies, the Canadian government announced sweeping changes to Canadian copyright law. The changes mirror American rules. They dictate what we can and cannot do with the machines and media we own. Watching a foreign DVD or unlocking a cell phone carry penalties of up to $20,000. Significant kinds of creativity and innovation are outlawed.

Do what you can to support opposition to this very poor piece of legistation.
