NYC National Debt Clock runs out of digits

This is interesting as i did not know about this clock, of course its also because i never been to NYC. But this is a sign of the times of the growing problem the U.S faces and the sign of decline of the American Financial empire. To date, none of the political parties have addressed this issue properly. A pity because during the times of Bill Clinton, he actually succedded in having budget surpluses that went into paying off the national debt. Now Bush's administration have succedded in wiping out that surplus and in fact brought the country to such ruin. Here's the published story from newsday.com

NEW YORK - In a sign of the times, the legendary National Debt Clock in New York City has run out of digits to record the growing debt.

The Times Square-area ticker needs two additional digits to track a national debt 100 times larger than the current $10.2 trillion.
