PASSENGERS on a plane about to crash sent frantic text messages moments before they died yesterday.  Citizen reports directly from passengers provided investigators with the earliest clues about the reasons for the crash.  One passenger's message read:  "The pilot has turned blue. Cousin farewell, we're freezing"

Both pilots of the Boeing 737 are thought to have fallen unconscious after the jet lost all cabin pressure and oxygen.

It flew on autopilot then smashed into a hillside with a huge explosion killing the 121 aboard, including 48 children, most of them Greek Cypriots.
