(MANILA, Philippines) A homemade bomb ripped through a commuter bus in the southern Philippines on Thursday, killing at least three people and wounding 10 others, authorities said.
Regional military spokesman Maj. Armand Rico said the bomb detonated while the bus was parked at a terminal in Digos. The city is near the regional center Davao, where authorities earlier warned that Muslim militants were plotting attacks.
