NP Rank:
Obama Wins! Men & Race Superior To Women.
The following editorial specifies the magnitude and scope of my opinion to the situations at hand. This has gone on long enough. I am not with the Clinton or Obama campaigns. I am also not with the Republicans either. I am not a staunch crusader for politics. I am for Truth- in fairness and against corruption- in media, politics and religion. I am also sorry to hear of the voters in Florida and Michigan whose voices are appearing to be ignored during the Democratic race for the presidential nomination- because of a few mistakes- so much for democracy. Now they are helpless- victims of 'bad politics'.
There are other types of 'bad politics'. Let us break this all down. Let us break any delusions that so plague the air of the Democratic campaign and those parties that aid and abed human error. I am displeased at the media and defecting politicians for how they treated Hillary. There has been corruption and lip service and for all the wrong reasons. It was good that some media personalities, like Wolfe Blitzer for example and some others interviewed her with respect. I would not even be surprised if Larry King was kind to Hillary. He is a kind personality. The infamous Jack Cafferty on the other hand, who I would call "Jack the Ripper" would "appear" to be the Hillary hater.... and how. He has done good reporting on other issues, but his apparent crusade against Hillary is both pompous and childish. So, I will not say a mouth full to him- it might give him a coronary followed by a long overdue retirement plan. All I will say, aside from the "Jack the Ripper" alias is that he reminds me of the Wizard of Oz meets Hannibal Lecter.
Why the "crown of thorns" on Hillary's head and the "baby powder" on Obama's 'bottom'? Unfortunately, it would appear as though a lot of the media and politicians hate Hillary, and do not want a "nagging woman" in the top rank of president. Most men I have spoken to throughout my life have always said that they would never want a woman to run a country and nag her way through wars and laws. Hence we have the word "nag". We also have "ego". It would appear that it does not matter if a candidate has no experience and becomes the next president- so long as it is a man. That type of logic is just plainly ridiculous and ancient. Even the CBC did a poor documentary on Hillary in a segment of The National some months back. Did the CBC do the same to Obama? No. A lot of politicians endorse Obama because he has a likable and friendly personality- so does 'used car salesmen' . Even governments like Hamas and possibly other militant Islamic extremist groups endorse Obama. The Nation of Islam, known as the 'pro black extremists', endorse Obama. Think about that for a moment. I am not saying that he is a member of those groups, nor am I saying that he backs those groups. I say that because some are saying that I am making those allegations. Maybe they should read my article more carefully instead of just simply skimming through it.
It seems more and more like Obama is going to be the winner- and Florida and Michigan have nothing to say about it, whether it be 'for' or 'against' it.. Several magazines have listed silly to blatantly ridiculous titles like "And The Winner Is..." with Obama's picture on the front cover. As more people defect over to Obama from Hillary it would seem more plausible that they need new specks and brain scans. What? They do? Yes, they do. So yes, Obama would seem to be the winner- a school boy in charge of the national school board. Truly truly sad. I do not know about you, but I would not be a passenger on a plane if I knew the pilot had no pilot's license or flight school experience.
We can thank a few features for this. Maybe the following people who are part of these letters can read and learn.
(A): We can thank the media for giving red carpet attention to Obama, save for the Rev. Wright issues. Still we can thank the media for giving him more positive lip service without criticizing his lack of experience and charisma. They held his hand and kissed his hide throughout his campaign, while they crowned Hillary with thorns. Blood trickles down her face from the thorns while Obama's 'bottom' is being caked in baby powder. Good job, media. We can thank the media for swarming all over Hillary with almost one blatant attack after another- like a horde of sadistic and narcissistic locusts in a wheat field and..
(B): We can thank the race card too, almost definitely. Now I am all for racial unity and love people of all races. I do not serve a racist kingdom of God. However, people are so annoyed of hearing about the race card. It is a "get out of jail free card"- it worked for OJ Simpson. Many of us would say nothing if Obama had the experience as much as Hillary and McCain do, but he does not. He does not have any experience or expertise- at all- for the role he wishes to undertake. If he had the qualifications and experience I would say "Go for it Obama!". The thing is that he has none of the experience or expertise of his competitors- none. Not even close. Not- one- iota. So instead, the race card gets used by some people as a 'fail safe' device. It is sad, but true.
Do you want an amateur running the United States of America? It seems that some terrorist factions also endorse Obama because they know that they can toy with and manipulate this little amateur. Obama thinks otherwise. Really? Want some tea and biscuits, sir? That is exactly what will happen. They will laugh at him. Bye bye national security! "We have an amateur at the controls!" the terrorists will say. Then the media can say "What have we done?.. What- have- we- done?". I have seen the media do slash jobs on people, groups and cultures. But 'this' hack job on Hillary clearly redefines the media in a far worse category than "The Silence Of The Lambs" & "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", combined..
Obama wants to be diplomatic to terrorists? Seriously? Those days are over, sir. Died years ago. Died on September 11, 2001. We exist in a violent and corrupted future. The time of 'talking' with and 'befriending' terrorists is over, way over. Get it straight. What about the voices of the Jews in all of this?? Oh that is right- race is more important than experience, right?.. and race is more important than religion & security, right? Oh how foolish of me to even second guess that. Not. To some extent I guess the Jews are also being ignored too if Obama wishes to be 'diplomatic' to Hamas and Iran. In research I have discovered that Walter Mondale, who ran for president against Ronald Reagan for president in 1985 had a plan to "talk to Russia and 'offer' to do a 'nuclear warhead freeze'". Apparently he lost the race to Reagan.
If Obama wins the race with a presidential nomination, then the aspects of "race and men", apparently, are superior to that of "gender and women". If Obama wins then it would be like putting a little boy in charge of brain surgery. Obama always speaks of "change"- like a broken record- over and over again. It is like listening to the infamous Barney song many of us hate to hear and cannot get out of our heads. If Obama wants to "change" anything, since that seems to be all he likes to talk about, he can change diapers at a day care. He is too young and IN- experienced. Get the facts and get real. If he had the moxie, the true charisma, the charm, the experience, the zest and the expertise then I would say nothing and wish him all the best. He has next to none of those things.
This man talks about universal healthcare for Americans. I hate to burst his bubble but Hillary thought of it first during the Bill Clinton era and was shunted for it. Where was Obama during all of this? I did not see him anywhere during her crusade for universal healthcare, did you? He most likely milked her ideas for all they were worth and when he had attained enough knowledge he 'broke away' and went on his own- like a dissatisfied partner or employee- a rebellion. These defectors most likely went to Obama for two reasons:
(A): Good public relations for supporting an African American- can look mighty impressive on a resume and..
(B): Money.
The race card has been abused here- to no end. Okay, here is something for some of you out there- especially those who love playing the race card- almost the same thing that was, apparently, played at the OJ Simpson murder trial in 1994 that had him exonerated. What about the gender card? The what? The gender card.. Were not women persecuted too?? Look at Hindu and Muslim countries where they treat women like utter garbage. So, what this all says to me, if Obama wins, apparently, is two concluding factors.:
(A): Race is superior than gender and..
(B): Men are superior to women. Women across the board will be let down if Obama wins. If Obama wins then I guess letters 'A' and letter 'B' are true. Obama may have more states and more delegates. He may have given some impressive speeches and he has. Does not mean he is qualified for the job. Obama is another version of Dan Quayle.
If people want there to be "the first African American president" in the United States that is fine, even though it will appear that race and men over power women. But for Pete's sake, get a guy in there who has the experience, training and expertise please- and not a 'wanna be' imitation. Obama is Dan Quayle 'all over again'. Powel had talent and spice. Colin Powel was a good African American politician for example because he was qualified and experienced. Still though, a lot of women will be let down and ignored. No other woman like Hillary will ever rise again for a long, long and "long" time. Oh well, right?? Who cares, right?? After all, Hillary is 'just a woman' who, according to her defectors does not know what she is talking about. Who started the mud slinging in the first place? Obama. Who backed him up with more admonition than the Oscars and American Idol? The media.
Womens voices have been, for the most part stomped on and have been ignored for centuries- if you wish to play the 'gender card'. If you do your research you will find that women have been persecuted and oppressed far longer than blacks. That is a cold- hard- fact. Is their sexism, to some extent against Hillary possibly by the National Press and/ or other media groups? Absolutely. If they did the same to Obama, they would be called racists. They do not want that. Good 'public relations' by the media, remember?
So, in conclusion, what will it be? Will it be:
(1): Hillary or Obama.? (2): Gender or race.? (3): Experience or nothing.? (4): Expertise or no expertise.? (5): Old and wise or young and naive.? (6): Endorsement from 'non violent or non racist groups' or endorsement from 'violent or racist groups'.? (7): Someone with a normal reverend or someone with a militant reverend.? (8): Purity or imitation.? (9): Knowing the controls or trial & error.? (10): Awareness or ignorance.? (11): A professional or an amateur.?(12): A no nonsense approach to terrorism or a nonsensical approach to terrorism.? (13): A 'fighter' against terrorists or a 'push over' for terrorists.? (14): Fact or fiction.? (15): Premium charisma or generic charisma.?
This is how important experience, wisdom and expertise really is. Nobody, with a clear sense of understanding and crucial judgement wants a candidate with none of those things to run the country- nobody wants a hollow man at the helm. Too bad that Florida and Michigan have no voice and sit helplessly as other Americans get to vote. If this article hurts Hillary's chances of winning the presidential nomination and Obama gets the presidential nomination because of it, do not blame me with lame excuses. Red tape would have simply been bought off by the green. In fact, if Obama wins because of this article or not, this article will only gain strength and dexterity as a 'self fulfilling prophecy'.
The future is in your hands..

Very well done. I'd like to give it a Good Stuff flag, but it needs to have the word Opinion or Editorial in the headline or at the start of the piece, and in the tags. It can be HEADLINE (Opinion, Editorial, Op-Ed, take your pick, most contributors are using Opinion.)
Doing that clearly marks an opinion piece as that, vs. having it stand as though it were a news piece: "The stock market rose 432 points today." If you have any questions, just ask.
And please help me give you a GS flag.
p.s. you might want to expand your tags: politics, u.s. presidential campaign, democrats, hillary clinton, barack obama, sexism, the race card, media, media problems...etc. add in a tag for key phrases that you use. And don't forget opinion!

Thank you kindly. I'm just frustrated at the evils and selfishness of the media. They are murdering Hillary.
at 18:04 on May 18th, 2008
In general the media is very good at murdering whatever it believes will get it good ratings.
And if you like Hillary, this one is for you....

Thank you kindly. It's just a vent against the evils of the media.

Twilight, I like this story. It's good stuff.Good Story Twilight. I have to agree and have been saying this a long time now. You know since America's beginning it has always been men in the Executive Office, and GW Bush has the balls to accuse the Taliban and Saudi Arabia for not supporting equal rights to women. They have killed people for not supporting equal rights to women, and what do they do here in the USA? Kill them politically.
I think women have less rights than black americans. In fact women are more in slavery than Black Americans. At least Black Americans had a civil war that was fought they claim to free them. Women are still thumb tacks, and toilet seats, given a bit a sexual prominence and attention at in certain times. It's quite terrible and disconcerting.
Obama is a loser if he takes the nomination and forces out Hillary. Hillary has done much for America in making it a better place, and to have him come along without using his head to unite the party; goes to show how out of touch he is to achieving change. See my article here: http://www.nowpublic.com/world/will-obama-give-democrats-16-years-power-opinion
What I don't understand is why these two didn't get together to work something out instead of making Americans choose between race or gender as their nominee! They are suppose to represent the party, not themselves, and when they pit each other against these two sensitive issues, it can only benefit Republicans who sit back and wait for the fallout of either side to vote for them. Obama is selfish and ignorant to say the least. He refuses to acknowledge that Rev. Wrights scourge in blaming America for causing AIDS was correct, because Ronald Reagan refused to do anything about it back when he was in office. So Obama has no memory, or is he suffering from the same brain disease Reagan had. Alzheimers and CRS...Can't Remember S%*%t.

Thank you for agreeing with alot of things I have spoken of. I am sick of the media swooping around Hillary like vultures and saying the words "And the count down has begun... 10...9...8...". They are sadistic narcissists when it comes to thinking only of themselves and ratings when it comes to which religion, person, culture or political group to maim and destroy.
at 10:40 on May 18th, 2008
Very well said, Twilight. The democrats have allowed themselves to be charmed by the guy who 'interviews' well but hasn't actually done anything on his resume.
at 14:42 on May 18th, 2008
Good point and thank you.
at 11:34 on May 18th, 2008
twilight, very clearly said.
And on one matter, let me repeat your words, because they express my own feelings if Obama will be elected as the US President, and if so, as the head of the free world.
"he [Obama] has none of the experience or expertise of his competitors- none. Not even close. Not- one- iota. Do you want an amateur running the United States of America? It seems that some terrorist factions also endorse Obama because they know that can toy with and manipulate this little amateur. That is exactly what will happen. They will laugh at him. twilight, I like this story. It's good stuff.
at 14:29 on May 18th, 2008
Thank you. It was just my two cents worth, that is all it was.
at 13:35 on May 18th, 2008
What gets me about this election is the main stream media is that they are biased. McCain makes a mistake by confusing Shiites and Sunnis sects and its all over the news. When Clinton mispoke about Bosnia and sniper fire it is all over the news. But Obama says, "I have been to all 57 states with 1 left to go", the news doesn't say he is "out of touch" or "too old" to be the president. What gives. Are we as reporters afraid to equally divide the news between the candidates?
at 14:54 on May 18th, 2008
That is what I do not like about the media. They are biased to anyone or anything they so choose. If they can twist the facts just to get a higher rating they will do so. I am with Heaven's Gate. So I have seen and heard, first hand, all the lies and over exaggerations they have said about the HG group, the Branch Davidians of Waco and other sects. When it comes to Hillary, they are murdering her like brutal cannibalistic marauders with knives. Biased behavior has never been thicker than this. Hillary's face is caked in blood from the "crown of thorns" the media gave her, while in the same breathe they kiss and pile the baby powder on Obama's 'botom' saying "Aaaaww, isn't he cute..." He is an ignorant baby with a rattle when it comes to expertise, moxie, know how and experience.
at 16:46 on May 18th, 2008
While all of this criticsm of the media is accurate one thing remains. People have very strong feelings about Clinton and unfortunately for her much of that is negative. She is an easy person to dislike. She seems to rub people the wrong way. It has nothing to do with her gender. There are and have been many popular and/or successful female politicians in the US and around the world.
Watching the primary race I can say one thing that turns me off about her is her arrogance. She comes accross less as someone who believes she is worthy of the nomination and more as someone who thinks the nomination should already be hers. When she loses she gets angry and angry does not get votes.
I am no big fan of Obama but as an ex-political speech writer I can tell you he sells and she repells. From my point of view it has been like watching a train wreck. I was never a fan of Bill Clinton but having the opportunity to watch Hillary over the past year I have new respect for his patience and tolerance.
at 17:13 on May 18th, 2008
I understand that it is not good to be arrogant or over confident on some or all issues. Nevertheless the media is main blame for this train wreck. But when Obama will not have a debate with Hillary, without moderators, that says plenty about Obama right there. It says more than plenty. That is okay though. The media will protect him. Thank you for your statements.
at 17:34 on May 18th, 2008
A debate without moderators? I do not recall seing a debate at this level without moderators. When was the last time one of these took place?
What not debating says has nothing to do with Obama and everything to do with smart politics. A frontrunner should never debate (moderated or otherwise) if it can be avoided. Debates only help the candidates running behind. That may not sound very democratic (small "d") but that is they way campaigns must be run to win. Never give your trailling opponent a platform.
I expect that soon Obama will begin (if he hasn't already) speaking as if he has the nomination. He will begin making speeches challenging McCain rather than Clinton and lines like "An Obama government would......." Once his campaign can convince the media that they are now covering the fight between Obama and McCain, Hillary should pull the plug and save heself a lot of money.
For me the telling sign will be how she behaves after she conceeds. Will she be a strong campaigner for Obama? Will she be humble in defeat? Will she put the interests of the Democratic Party ahead of her own? If she can do all that then maybe she deserves another run for the nomination in the future, if not she will be a study in how to screw up a good chance of being President.
at 18:32 on May 18th, 2008
It was on CNN about two months ago. Hillary challenged Obama to a debate without moderators. He declined to meet with her for a 'no holds barred' debate. If Hillary does lose she should make a detailed statement/ criticism of the media for it. The media would deserve it. On the other hand, if she criticized Obama, telling Democrats that they made a critical and irreversible mistake, then that would wrong of her to do so. That would show poor sportsmanship. To criticize the media though? Yes, many of us would be in favour of that. The media gave Hillary a raw deal and they need to get verbally disciplined for it. No doubt she shot herself in the foot a couple of times, but then again so did Obama. Metaphorically speaking what is worse is, with his lack of expertise and no experience, he is not even qualified to carry a gun to shoot himself in the foot with. On the other hand I guess the red tape, the green tape and the media will teach him how to use one. Obama's true colours will come out. He's at his good behavior now- but that wears off. The race issue will come again- sooner or later- whether we like it or not.
at 19:40 on May 18th, 2008
Oh, I think people know why they support Obama. It is a combination of disliking/distrusting Clinton and wanting some hope for a different style of politics in the White House. I am not saying that Obama will or can deliver that change but clearly Democrats are not in a mood for the style that Clinton is selling. Let's face it Hillary Clinton is nothing but a left-winged George Bush. Her style of power politics is no different than Bush/Cheney. They would both do deals with the devil to get their way.
The funny thing about complaining about the media is that Bill Clinton was given the same kind of treatment when he ran. The media fawned over him. Did you complain then? And why are Hillary's supporters so angry and mean-spirited? Is it that she attracts those supporters due to her own personal negative style? Maybe Obama's supporters are happier people in general and that is a very attractive quality in any political campaign.
At the end of the day political campaigns are nothing more than very expensive popularity contests. It is the exception rather than the rule for policies to matter much. People like Obama more than Clinton......bottom line. The media didn't sabotage her campaign; people, the media included, simply like Obama more.
at 17:25 on May 18th, 2008
We have similar backgrounds as I was in Political PR.
at 18:38 on May 18th, 2008
Well I hope that my two cents of info provided a more clear perspective at where the true fault lies. Hillary might be a tad arrogant from time to time and Obama might NOT be this way, but he is 'ignorant'. Big difference. She just wants American Democrats to wake up and get with the program. Unfortunately that rubs people the wrong way so they go straight to Obama, who by the looks of things does not know his right hand from his left. Some Obama supporters do not even know why they support Obama, other the fact that he is black. Sorry but that is known as 'stinking thinking' and 'blind judgement'.
at 20:47 on May 18th, 2008
Obama should think of the party first. He could have 16 years of Democratic rule if he became Hillary's VP. This would solve the race gender issue. Hillary is too old to be his VP, because 2016 she would not be able to do the work, as they also accuse McCains aga as a handicap.
This act would unite the party, bringing together both, and it would be positive. 2016 he would be much more wiser and experienced to be the President until 2024. Why doesn't he think reality instead of winning. Actually thinking of the party is a bigger winner for us all, than his selfish thinking at this moment.
If he does not consider this, I know he is not really a Democrat but a Republican mole, to help Republicans. He doesn't care if Hillary is not supported and people go to voet for Republicans, because he is really a Republican.
at 20:57 on May 18th, 2008
Makes sense. I agree totally. However and unfortunately Obama's attitude is like that of a small child learning how to talk. He does not want to wait. He wants 'it' now- right now. For him to serve as vice president will not sit too well with black supremacists. They will not stand for that. They would play the race card once again as a "black person serving under a white person" as a "second class citizen". It would cause major problems. True, Obama is selfish.
at 21:19 on May 18th, 2008
Black supremacists? People that believe that blacks are better than whites? I don't really think Obama's people are black supremacists. That is a bit of a stretch. Anyway why on earth would Obama want to win the nonimation just to tell the majority who support him that he does not intend to accept it? Can you imagine the rage and outcry from Obama supporters? People who gave money would launch a class action suit - and they would have a case. He would effectively be committing fraud everytime he accepted a donation unless he told people his true intentions. What is wrong with democratic election by a majority? Who is so special as to tell the majority of voting Democratic members that their will should be ignored? For Democratic party supporters you are not a very democratic bunch.
at 01:24 on May 19th, 2008
The Nation Of Islam, who does not let whites or Jews join is pro black only. They even mentioned that they were black supremacists. It was all over the news a decade ago. It is run by a gentleman by the name of Farracan. I'm not a supporter of any group. May the best person win. However I am for fairness and honesty and not buy outs by green tape and media lip service who thrive on ratings. It is just that Obama is too young, inexperienced with no expertise or coordination. It was clearly visible throughout his campaign. He fowled up more times than Hillary. The two of them would have to join forces to beat the Republicans in an election. If not and Obama is the presidential nominee, he may lose to McCain like Gore did to Bush. Obama is actually Dan Quayle all over again. He was another man who was wet behind the ears.
at 16:07 on May 19th, 2008
His name is Louis Farrakhan. I am aware of the Nation of Islam. I am unaware, however, that Obama is a member or supporter. That is a serious charge. What evidence do you have of this association?
at 16:19 on May 19th, 2008
I never said that he was a member or supporter. I said that he was endorsed by the Nation of Islam. Big difference. I am also not saying that Obama supports terrorism or terrorist groups. I am saying that some of those groups support or endorse him. I will recheck my lengthy article to make sure that I have not misquoted any statements.
at 16:27 on May 19th, 2008
Ok. I am sure the Nation of Islam supports him. Do you know who else supports Obama? The KKK. Check it out. White and black supremisists support him. That is truly broadbased support!
at 16:36 on May 19th, 2008
Groups like the Nation of Islam support Obama because he is black, and the KKK supports Obama because he is a man. It is on the Net. It is not rocket science. Just like it is not rocket science that I am 'not' saying that Obama supports these groups.
