NP Rank:
Palin attended 6 colleges in 6 years

After a successful appearance at this week's Republican National Convention, the credibility of Sarah Palin continues to be put under scrutiny. Over a six year period Senator Palin, then known by her maiden name of Heath, attended six different colleges.
The Associated Press has reported that the Vice-presidential hopeful has a sketchy college record. While federal privacy laws do not allow access to Palin's transcripts, questions have been raised about why she would change schools so often in such a short period of time.
Federal privacy laws prohibit the schools from disclosing her grades, and none of the schools contacted by The Associated Press could say why she transferred. There was no indication any were contacted as part of the background investigation of Palin by presidential candidate John McCain's campaign.
Palin was born in Idaho and raised in Alaska. Her suitability as running mate to John McCain has been heavily scrutnized since her nomination was announced.

Tina Kells, I like this story. It's good stuff. I'll keep my sarcastic comments to myself

Please explain how her college record is "sketchy" ?
She received a degree!
Not everyone has the means to enter a 4 year college and get it all done in one place. There is a reason that College Credits are transferable....
And why is it every critical writer on the subject of Palin has to bring up the "possibility" of McCain not bedding her good enough? It is thrown out as an unprovable accusation.
I am smack dab in between of Both Idaho Colleges mentioned (though in Washington) and both are respected institutions.
Who can say why she went to several other colleges before settling down, but why does it matter at all... the thoughts and actions of a teenager 20 years ago just out of the nest.
Seems an attempt to make a mountain out of a speck of dust.

The word is vetting. V-E-T-T-I-N-G, not "bedding". It's in the dictionary. Look it up.

Maybe that was a Freudian slip?
