Police confirm four shot in Carrollton, VA, one dead

One of the four males involved in a shooting earlier today has been pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

CARROLTON, VA. (WAVY.com) --Around 5:15, four black males were shot at a Sonic restaurant in the town of Carrollton, according to Isle of Wight County PIO Don Robertson. He says two were in a Jeep and two were in a Honda.

WAVY News 10 photojournalist Walter Hildebrand, who arrived on scene says all four were sent to the hospital. One of the four who had been shot was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital via Nightingale. It is not clear which of the four is now dead.

A motive in the shooting has yet to be determined.
